Rugby: Winslade flies in for derby clash

Chinnor give a debut to their signing from New Zealand, Zane Winslade, in their South West 1 derby clash against Oxford Harlequins at Horpsath Road tomorrow.

The 22-year-old wing forward flew in to England this week from Malaysia, where he has been playing in the touring New Zealand Universities side.

He joins fellow Kiwi Sam McIvor and Australian centre Cameron Shaw in a strong Antipodean influence at Chinnor

Hooker Mike Cook is back from injury, while centre Darren Oxley is promoted after some outstanding performances for the second string.

Harlequins' skipper Jamie Cope is attending a wedding so Shaun Baxter will lead the side.

There's an injury doubt over centre Will Greenwood's teeth, following his blow in the mouth a fortnight ago.

In last season's two league encounters, both away sides triumphed, while Quins won a thrilling Oxfordshire Cup final which could have gone either way.

However, it was Quins, who were relegated last season before their late reprieve.

Henley Hawks, still seeking a first victory of the season, have another tough challenge against Coventry in National League 1 at the Midlanders' new ground, the Barker Butts Arena.

The Hawks welcome back Jonny Barrett as hooker after injury, which allows Adam Hopcroft to move to his usual position of tight head prop.

Andy Gosling returns to the front row for Witney in their Southern Counties North match at High Wycombe, where he will makes his 404th first-team appearance.
