The Rugby World Cup is coming to Oxfordshire - and thousands of people are expected to flock to see it.
The so-called Sweet Chariot Tour, organised by the Rugby Football Union will be in the county on Sunday and Monday, April 25 and 26.
Events are being planned for both days - anf not just in 'rugby locations.
So anybody is free to come and see the Webb Ellis Trophy, which will paraded in both Oxfordshire's M40 Service Stations, Bicester Village, Gloucester Green in Oxford.
In addition the cup will make an appearance at the Oxfordshire mini-rugby mini-festival being held at chippington RFC on the Sunday.
One of the highlights will be 'an evening with the William Webb Ellis Trophy' - a dinner or buffet to reward up to 100 of the county's rugby club volunteers.
The Rugby World Cup will take centre stage, but the Oxfordshire RFU are still looking for a sponsored venue for the night and are inviting interest from parties who would be willing to stage the prestigious event.
"One or two organisations have offered their facilities, but were still open to offers," said Paul Murphy, Oxfordshire's representative on the RFU.
"Priority will be given to those organisations who may wish to subsidise or sponsor all or part of the costs of the evening.
Further details of the requirements can be obtained by emailing the Oxfordshire RFU administration office on: orfu-admin @dropline.demon.co.uk.
