Oxon Under 20s reach semi-finals

Oxfordshire reached the last four of the Tetleys Under 20 County Championship for the first time when they beat The Army 28-20 in yesterday's semi-final at Aldershot.

In the semi-finals to be played on the weekend of May 3-4, Oxon will entertain North Midlands at Gosford All Blacks' Stratfield Brake ground.

Meanwhile, in Saturday's league action, Chipping Norton failed in their bid to gain promotion from Berks Bucks & Oxon Division 1, when they lost 10-6 at home to Phoenix, who will go up instead.

Chinnor wrapped up their season in Powergen South West 1 with a 14-9 victory over Keynsham, while South West 2 East champions Oxford Harlequins romped to a 41-12 win at Chippenham.
