Chinnor's teenage openside flanker David Seymour celebrated his 19th birthday last Saturday with an inspired performance in the 50-21 win over Barnstaple in South West 1.
With a shock of blond hair, reminiscent of Jean Pierre Rives, Seymour was all over the pitch helping the Chinnor cause.
But the youngster is in no hurry to leave the club he first joined as a six-year-old.
Seymour admits receiving an invitation to join Henley this season, having been educated in the town.
"But I feel I can learn more by playing competitive games in South West 1, which is a pretty good standard," said the youngster, who says he harbours ambitions of a professional rugby caeer.
Seymour, whose father Cec was a regular first-team prop for Chinnor, had a taste of the big time when playing for Oxfordshire in the County Championship Shield final at Twickenham.
Seymour is likely to be recommended to a top English or Welsh club. But for now, he is happy at Chinnor.
