South West Div 1: Chinnor slipped to a 29-16 defeat at Cinderford, despite taking an early ten-point lead.
An early penalty goal by Conor Begley was followed by a converted penalty try for persistent infringement.
Cinderford scored from a rolling maul and the turning point came when Chinnor were awarded a penalty five metres from the home line. They spun the ball wide, lost possession and Cinderford scored a try near the posts.
Chinnor's woes were compounded early in the second half when they lost Darren Oxley with a leg injury.
Defensive mix-ups gave Cinderford two more converted tries, before two penalties by Begley brought it back to 26-16. A final Cinderford penalty goal sealed the verdict.
