After an inauspicious start, Chinnor took control and ran out 17-11 winners against Bridgwater & Albion at Kingsey Road.
Inside the first two minutes, the home side were caught offside in front of the posts and Simon Rodgers put Bridgwater ahead with the simplest of penalties.
From then on, it was nearly all Chinnor as the home side kept possession and were rewarded by three Conor Begley penalties in the space of ten minutes.
A lone foray into Chinnor territory saw Rodgers peg back the home side with his second penalty.
Bridgwater then took the lead just on half-time when they swiftly moved the ball to their right wing Ryan Turner, who outpaced the Chinnor cover to score wide out.
This was against the run of play, but the home side were not too disheartened as they had the breeze at their backs going into the second half.
A lot of pressure by Chinnor was thwarted by a stout and well-organised Bridgwater defence.
However, it finally brought its reward when Leon Westerman came off the left wing to score on the right hand side with a curving run into the corner. Begley's conversion attempt hit the upright.
A drop goal by impressive fly half Louw Kruger, which went over via the crossbar, completed the scoring.
