Chinnor face an uphill task to avoid relegation from South West Division 1 after going down 29-15 away to fellow strugglers Keynsham on Saturday (Dec 28).
The visitors started brightly and had the majority of the possession in the early stages, taking a 3-0 lead with a Conor Begley penalty.
But after that, little went right in the first half for the Oxfordshire side.
Keynsham, who belied their lowly league position, started to use their impressive backs, and two tries in quick succession gave them the upper hand.
Chinnor struggled to find any continuity and regularly turned over possession, so it was no surprise that another try followed from Keynsham from a quick tap-penalty, with the visitors' defence caught sleeping.
Turning around 19-3 down at the break, Chinnor rallied briefly with their first decent attack and South African Jacques Nel crashed over for a try.
However, Keynsham countered straight away as their backs once again cut loose.
The second half overall proved to be a disappointing affair as the sides swapped tries, Milburn going over for Chinnor, before the final whistle.
